Nicolas "Nick" Muzin is a Canadian-born American physician, lawyer and politician. He currently serves as the director of coalitions and strategy for the 113th United States Congress.

Early life

Muzin was raised in Toronto, Canada.


Muzin graduated from Yeshiva University in 1997 after majoring in biology, matriculating to Yeshiva's Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx on a full scholarship, graduating in 2001.[1] Following a year of internal medicine internship, Muzin proceeded to enroll at Yale Law School, from which he graduated in 2005.


Muzin first met Tim Scott while serving as corporate counsel for The InterTech Group, Inc., a private equity firm in Charleston, South Carolina, and has been "instrumental in paving the way" for Scott's political ascension.[2]

Private life

Muzin lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife Andrea (née Zucker) and their three children, Stella, Daisy, and Jerry. He affiliates with Modern Orthodox Judaism and attends religious services at the Yeshiva of Greater Washington.[1]
