Jeremy Blaustein (born 1966) is a Japanese translator.

Born on Long Island, New York, Blaustein began studying writing and Japanese language at the University of Iowa and continued his graduate and post-graduate studies at the University of Illinois and the University of Pittsburgh. After working for a time at Konami in Tokyo in the mid-90s, he began work as a freelance translator. He is best known for his work in video games, most notably as the translator of the original Metal Gear Solid (1998), created by Hideo Kojima. Blaustein also has been a translator for the Pokémon anime and movies since 2003. He currently lives in Japan.[1]
